How It Works
The Liam Rey Show
The Liam Rey Show is built on a simple idea: everyone has a story — but not every story can be told the same way. That’s why we take time to shape each episode around you. Instead of throwing out random questions, we invite every guest to choose a lens: a way of framing the story you want to share.
We want this to be more than just a Q&A session. We believe the best episodes feel like a conversation — alive, reflective, and real. Think more Michael Parkinson than a TikTok explainer. Just something true.
We’ve carefully developed three sets of questions you can choose from, designed to help us build a clear and powerful picture of your story in pre-production. Each set acts as a guiding light — shaping the tone and emotional depth of the interview.
Whether you hold a public role, have lived through something deeply personal, or just want to talk it through in your own words — there’s space for your story here.
The lens system isn’t just a structure; it’s our way of making sure the experience fits you — not the other way around. Your story matters, and we’re here to help you tell it in the way it deserves.
We record in a relaxed, safe environment — no live pressure, no need to be perfect. The conversation is fully edited, and you’ll always get a chance to hear it before anything goes out. You have full say in how your story is shared.
The Lens System
The Lens System
We ask every guest to choose one of three lenses — each one helps shape the tone, structure, and emotional depth of your episode. You don’t need to overthink it. Just pick the one that feels closest to your voice, and we’ll build from there.
- Tynwald Hill is for leaders, public figures, or those who represent something bigger than themselves. It’s structured, intentional, and thoughtful — a space to reflect on the work you do, the values you stand for, and what it really means to hold responsibility in public.
- The Snaefell Mountain Circuit is for those who want to keep it moving — open, honest, and full of twists and turns. It’s designed for first-time interviewees, or guests who simply want to share their project, passion, or brand without overthinking it. You don’t need a polished story — just the willingness to show up.
- The Sound is for the raw, powerful stuff — the quieter truths, the big shifts, the moments that changed everything. Like the tide, it can come in gently… or hit you all at once. It’s made for guests who are ready to be open and frank, and who want to share a transformational story with honesty and depth.
Consent & Boundaries
This is your story — and we’ll treat it with care.
If there’s anything you’d rather not talk about, just say so. You’ll have a chance to flag boundaries before we record, and again before anything goes out. We always send a draft of the episode for your review — and nothing is published without your sign-off.
If something doesn’t feel right, just let us know. We’ll fix it.
This isn’t about gotcha moments — it’s about telling something real, in a way that feels safe and true to you.
